Club & Site Rules

2021 UPDATE

Please take time to read the 2021 edition of the WFRF Constitution and Rules. These now reflect both the requirements of CAA Article 16, and changes to flying at Warren Farm arising from it’s change of use from a sports field.

The changes have been highlighted in Yellow, but please take time to read the entire document.

The rules will always remain under review to accommodate future changes in technology and legislation.

PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE MOWN AREA

Please be aware that the mown area is not, and never has been, intended for use by the general public as a rest or picnic area. It is mown by LBE as part of a paid licence agreement between the London Borough of Ealing and Warren Farm Radio Flyers, for use as a runway for our model flying activities.

The club has no issue with the general public using the mown area whenever club members are not on site, however flying is not possible when people are on the mown area. Please cooperate with the club members by moving to the South-West border of the runway (the side nearest to Windmill Lane) as directed when asked to do so.

You are welcome to stay with us and enjoy the model flying display as a spectator.

Please do not light a barbecue on any part of Warren Farm, as this would present a fire risk to the wildlife habitat. Also, please do not play football on the runway if wearing studded boots.

Please keep to the mown footpaths to avoid disturbing ground nesting birds and other wildlife. Please read the following document from Chris Bunting from LBE detailing the access needs of WFRF members :-
